Manufacturing is my passion. I can communicate initial ideas quickly through sketching or develop detailed CAD designs (Autodesk and NX). I am comfortable producing functional prototypes from one offs to mass manufacture - effectively selecting materials, processes and tools to meet budget and volume demands. From hand tools to rapid digital fabrication I can adapt quickly to new processes and am eager to push them to their limits.

I have first hand experience manufacturing for production (DFMA), from designing tooling for jewellery atrisans to injection moulding for Dyson - with a focus on quality control including tolerance stacks and GD&T. I have visited factories in China that specialise in medium to high volumes and have cultivated a personal network of trusted manufacturers in the UK and overseas. I am experienced in building strong supplier relationships to support timely, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions.
